NFL GAME PREVIEW

Sunday 4 PMFour games. Four different ways to attack them.

Baltimore can run through the marquee matchup. Minnesota–Tampa Bay could struggle to stay on schedule. Las Vegas has a protection advantage worth examining. San Francisco looks like the better team—but that does not make every 49ers bet a good one.

The 60-second card

Three individual matchup leans, not a parlay. Full-game quotes: September 26, 11:53 a.m. ET. Check the available line before entry. Winner calls below are separate from these priced selections.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys

Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys matchup artwork

Dallas has to answer Henry before it can dictate the game.

Dallas Cowboys +3.5 · Total 53.5 · DraftKings snapshot · 4:25 p.m. ET

Derrick Henry over 90.5 rushing yards -110
Winner call: Baltimore.

The highest total in the late window can make this look like a mandatory quarterback shootout. Baltimore has another way to get there. StatRankings grades its running-back matchup as the best on the slate, and Derrick Henry has handled 11 of the Ravens’ 12 running-back red-zone carries. I lean Henry over 90.5 rushing yards at -110, but Ronnie Stanley is now out. Losing the left tackle makes this a thinner case than the rushing grade alone suggests.

Baltimore has produced explosive gains on 23% of plays while leaning toward the run. Dallas is missing several second-level defenders, including DeMarvion Overshown, Malik Hooker and P.J. Locke. If Henry repeatedly gets Baltimore into manageable down-and-distance, Lamar Jackson does not need a huge pass-attempt count to keep this offense dangerous.

My winner is Baltimore; the spread and total are passes at Ravens -3.5 and 53.5. Dallas has protected Dak Prescott well enough to make the comeback script credible. That is why Henry paired with a Cowboys receiver can tell a more coherent DFS story than blindly combining both quarterbacks’ favorite pass catchers. Zay Flowers’ hamstring keeps me away from a receiving bet until his status and workload are clearer.

DraftKings construction

Derrick Henry + CeeDee Lamb is an opposing-player pairing for a Ravens lead and Dallas response; it is not a quarterback stack. For a passing-led Dallas build, use Dak Prescott + Lamb with Henry as the return. Do not label either construction low-owned without a verified ownership forecast.

What changes the read: The replacement for Stanley cannot hold up, Dallas scores first and forces more passing, or Lamar keeps the scoring opportunities himself.

Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The first question in Tampa: can either offense stay on schedule?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +1.5 · Total 42.5 · DraftKings snapshot · 4:05 p.m. ET

Under 42.5 total points -110
Winner call: Minnesota.

Tampa Bay has allowed pressure on 53.9% of dropbacks, the worst early rate in the league. Minnesota has generated pressure on 40%, third-best. That is the central problem for Baker Mayfield: the defense across from him is equipped to attack the thing his offense has struggled most to protect.

This is not a free pass for Minnesota. Tampa Bay has generated pressure on 39.2% of dropbacks, and both offenses have played slowly. The rushing matchups are poor as well. That combination supports my lean to Under 42.5 at -110: sustained drives look harder to assemble than the names at quarterback and receiver might suggest.

Minnesota is my narrow winner. Kyler Murray has cleared concussion protocol, and Aaron Jones is off the final report, with Jordan Mason on injured reserve. Jones’ available workload is worth examining; it does not erase a difficult run matchup. The Under’s failure case is straightforward: sacks become turnovers, turnovers become short fields, and the scoreboard moves without long drives.

DraftKings construction

A smaller Kyler Murray + Justin Jefferson pairing makes more sense than automatically stacking both offenses. Jefferson can command the passing work while the game stays relatively quiet. Keep the expensive double stacks for a build that explicitly assumes these protections improve.

What changes the read: Turnovers create short fields, or either quarterback consistently beats the pressure for explosive gains.

Weather: 87°F · 6 mph wind · 0 mm rain in the 1-hour forecast period.

Las Vegas Raiders at New Orleans Saints

The Raiders’ protection makes the underdog worth a look.

New Orleans Saints -3 · Total 43.5 · DraftKings snapshot · 4:25 p.m. ET

Raiders +3 +102
Winner call: Las Vegas.

New Orleans wants the game moving. It has played at 24.3 seconds per snap, the fastest pace in the league, and leaned toward the pass. The Raiders have a reason not to be intimidated: they have allowed pressure on only 17.5% of dropbacks while generating it on 39.2% defensively. That is a meaningful two-sided argument for Las Vegas +3 at +102.

The Saints’ speed does not automatically mean efficient scoring. Their explosive-play rate is only 14.1%, and losing left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. matters against this rush. Chris Olave can still collect substantial volume; the bet is that Las Vegas can make the rest of those drives more difficult than the Saints would like.

I lean Raiders +3 and make Las Vegas the upset winner. Brock Bowers’ knee is the obvious reason to keep the stake modest and the view revisable. Ashton Jeanty gives the Raiders another finishing route: all four of their running-back carries inside the five have gone to him, without a touchdown yet. That is useful opportunity, not a guarantee that a score is ‘due.’

DraftKings construction

If Bowers is active without a reported restriction, Kirk Cousins + Bowers with Chris Olave returning is the competitive-game stack to examine. If Bowers is limited, do not keep the stack simply because it looked appealing Saturday. Jeanty offers a different, rushing-led way to express a Raiders win.

What changes the read: The Saints’ tempo wears down the rush, Olave wins quickly, or Bowers cannot provide a normal receiving role.

Weather: Indoors. Outdoor wind and rain are not field conditions.

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco’s edge starts with keeping Purdy comfortable.

San Francisco 49ers -8.5 · Total 47.5 · DraftKings snapshot · 4:05 p.m. ET

No priced bet selected
Winner call: San Francisco.

San Francisco has allowed pressure on 23% of dropbacks; Arizona has generated it on 23.5%. That is a good starting point for Brock Purdy. The 49ers have also produced explosive plays on 23.2% of snaps, compared with Arizona’s 8.8%. One offense has found shortcuts down the field; the other has needed more plays to do the same job.

The receiving decision depends on Mike Evans’ hip. George Kittle, Evans and Deebo Samuel all feature in the passing structure, so an Evans absence would matter to the distribution. It would not justify assigning every missing target to Kittle. Christian McCaffrey remains a separate scoring route: he has four of the team’s five running-back carries inside the five.

San Francisco is my winner, but I am passing on laying 8.5. Nick Bosa’s confirmed absence weakens the case for treating Arizona’s offense as helpless, and the 49ers have played slowly. They can win convincingly in the football sense without clearing a large betting margin. I am also passing on Kittle over 4.5 catches at +126 until the receiving group is settled.

DraftKings construction

Brock Purdy + George Kittle with Trey McBride returning from Arizona is a candidate if you expect the Cardinals to keep San Francisco throwing. McCaffrey + 49ers defense expresses the control-game alternative. Check Evans before deciding which version to build.

What changes the read: Arizona protects well enough without Bosa on the other side and keeps San Francisco in a slower, closer game.

Weather: 70°F · 5 mph wind · 0 mm rain in the 1-hour forecast period.

The way I’d use this slate

The late card is intentionally varied: Henry on the ground, an Under in Tampa and the Raiders with the points. They are separate matchup opinions, not one combined parlay.
